What’s Included
Day Trip Experience
Take a path less traveled exploring untamed natural areas along the little-known Nith River. Tributary of the Grand and part of a designated Canadian Heritage River, it’s home to some of southern Ontario’s largest and rare Carolinian forest. Hike through hidden valleys of untouched beauty in rural Oxford County on a guided interpretive experience. Picturesque old iron bridges and herds of white-tailed deer cross the river along the way as you hear early settlement folklore, see stunning sights unknown even to locals, and enjoy incomparable views of nature.
Enjoy a delicious, locally made trailside lunch as you take in the scenery. Wildlife, flora, and bird species native to the area are abundant along the trails around the Nith River, and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear red-tailed hawks, see deer, and possibly come across plants that are unique to this region.
Day trip experience from $90/person CAD
